This depends on whether a property was identified by our risk engine or not.
If a property was not identified
This is due to insufficient or incorrect address data being sent to us - for example a missing post code. Our API responds with a returnStatus code and message to explain the reason for an address not matching. You can find more about this here.
If a property was identified
There are four main reasons an identified property may not have a risk score:
- The address is not in one of our supported regions
- The address is a residential property
- The address is an excluded commercial property
- We do not have enough information on the property to be able to provide a risk score
